In a refined corner dedicated to contemporary living, the WKND Showroom, located in Muntinlupa, Philippines, presents a quiet yet compelling exploration of how materiality shapes experience.
More than a display of furniture, the WKND Showroom becomes a study in balance—where form and function coexist through a carefully curated palette of textures, tones, and lines, highlighting how thoughtful material choices shape the overall atmosphere.
Vertiflute materials integrate seamlessly, adding subtle texture and depth that ground the space while allowing each piece to stand out. A WPC Copper finish introduces a gentle metallic sheen that lifts the room, while veneer surfaces bring natural wood grain for organic richness. Complementing this, the WPC Coffee finish adds warmth and depth, echoing the character of natural wood. An intentional gap detail within the Flexiflute MDF further enhances the composition—creating rhythm, shadow, and a sense of precision.
At WKND, material is not merely a finish but a narrative device. It shapes how the space is perceived, how light interacts with surfaces, and how users move within it.
