Patterned Stone: Material Expression of Garments and Experience

Bench Cafe transforms fashion into a spatial experience, where material, texture, and dining come together as a curated expression of brand identity.

The design of Bench Cafe translates the identity of a fashion brand into a spatial experience centered on texture and material expression. Using red travertine in fluted in mosaic and concave strip, the surfaces are treated like fabric; layered, patterned, and composed with rhythm. This approach reflects fashion not just as clothing, but as construction and detail, where material becomes the main language of design.

Through the combination of materials, the space emphasizes tactility and surface depth, allowing the cafe to feel curated. The interplay of fluted and concave stone creates subtle movement across walls and forms, turning the café into an immersive environment where coffee, design, and garments merge seamlessly.
